I find a lot of 'normal' names quite ridiculous, in that they are so unoriginal they become ridiculous... ' This baba looks like a Bert' 'This baba looks like a Jane' 'Aww little Gandalph' those names sound like 80 year old names,, but yeah i guess they were once babies too.

As long as the name is not abusive or cruel in any sense then I like hearing unusual names, my brain lets out a grey yawn everytime I hear another baby is being called ' Daniel, Ben, Jane, Sarah, Emma etc' like can't we give those names a rest and yeah I know religious people have their reasons but its not the majority of people naming for religious reasons and yeah its kind of blasphemy anyway, to name someone in the image of a biblical figure. When I was a kid and started meeting people called ' Moses' and 'Jesus' I was like ARE THEY ALLOWED TO DO THAT... just seems a little like, if you aint gonna fill the shoes...

I went to high school with a black girl who's first name was "Dija" and her middle name was "Naise".
