Jade or Jayde: Jade. Jayde looks misspelled to me.
Jane or Jayne: Jane, though I like both.
Ariel or Arielle: Ariel, mainly because of my love of fairytales, though Arielle is beautiful too.
May or Mai: May. Mai looks misspelled to me.
Amy or Aimee: Amy. Amy used to be my name before I legally changed it.
Madison or Madisyn
Lauren or Lauryn: Lauren. I'm not a big fan of names that change the spellings to put y where another letter used to be (Lauryn, Camryn, Kathryn etc)
Elizabeth: This is a hard one. I used to prefer Elisabeth, but now I think I prefer Elizabeth. But both are beautiful.
Katherine or Kathryn: Katherine. Hahaha, I didn't even know this question would come up when I answered the Lauren question. As I said above, I hate the 'let's stick a y there instead' trend.
Lynn: I've never seen the spelling Linn before, and although I do think it's very pretty, Lynn is still my favourite.
Grace: Grayce looks misspelled to me. The y is just unnecessary.
Alison: The spelling doesn't need to be changed. Alisyn just looks like a misspelling to me, and spell check agrees (spell check agrees with most of my opinions).
Ashleigh: I'm not a big fan of either, but Ashleigh looks more complete than Ashlee.
Claire: Clare just doesn't look right to me.
Emily: I think this is the prettiest spelling.
Nicole: I like both, but if I ever used this name I'd spell it Nicole so that she wouldn't have to keep correcting the spelling of her name for people. But both are pretty.
Holly: Hollie doesn't look right to me, and Holly reminds me more of Christmas.
Karen: Karen looks prettier.
Lindsey: Lindsey looks more like a name, but Linzi looks more like a nickname for something else.
Lisa: I really like this name, it's so pretty.
Zara: I think the h is unnecessary,
Tracy: I like both spellings, but I think this is slightly prettier.
Catriona: I love Celtic names!
