If there is a -line ending name you prefer that's not here, I'm happy for you to suggest it but only once you have chosen one from the list. Thank you :)

Rosaline- I adore this name. It is a very classy name (as are all the other names on this list). It is a nice alternative to Rosalie which has been growing in popularity since the publishing of the Twilight Saga. I only have it in a guilty pleasure combination at the moment (Rosaline Vienna) but I'm on the lookout for a suitable middle name. Overall: 10/10!

Pronunciation I would use: Roe- zah- line

Coraline- Very pretty also. I've asked about this name before and I got both positive and negative feedback. Some said that it was a little "awkward". I still love it though. But this is a very tough list to choose a favourite from so this is only going to get 8/10!

Pronunciation I would use: Kore-ah-line

Adeline- This is quite nice. It is very classy but I don't think it has the same personality as other names on the list. I'd probably only use it as a middle name if I were to use it. 7/10!

Pronunciation I would use: Ah-deh-line

Caroline- Lovely name! So traditional and beautiful. And such a great selection of nicknames. It's a fantastic name. 10/10!

Pronunciation I would use Kare-oh-line

Emmeline- This is another favourite of mine. I think that it has a lot more substance than Emma. It's classy with a capital "C"!. I adore it! 10/10!

Pronunciation I would use: Em-eh-line

Ok, decision time! :)

Great selection of names here. They are all very good names and pretty names.

My Top 3 would be Rosaline, Caroline and Emmeline.

My absolute favourite would have to be Rosaline as I am partial to Rose names and this is certainly no exception. I think that it is gorgeous. I would go for Rosaline from this list but not if it is going to replace Rose Kathleen on your list. (I adore that combination!)

If it is Rose Kathleen or Rosaline then I'm going to have to go for Emmeline.

:)

Some other suggestions:

Angeline (On-geh-line (French way)/ An-geh-leen)

Aveline (Av-ah-line)

Evangeline (Eh-van-geh-leen)

Madeline (Mad-eh-line)

Rosaline and Emmeline are actually two of my favorite -line names, both ending in the -LEEN sound. I also like Rose, Rosalie, Emilia, and Emiliana (I only mention this because they're similar to Rosaline and Emmeline, and you couldn't really use both as sisters). Emilia & Rosaline or Emmeline & Rosalie would be just gorgeous!

As for your other -line names, I pronounce them all with -LEEN as well. I'd take Caroline over Coraline and I don't care for Adeline. It doesn't spark that much excitement for me.

Rosaline -- I pronounce as [RAH-zuh-lin]. Very pretty, and with Rosalie and Ivy it's one of the few flower-inspired names I can handle.

Coraline -- [KORE-uh-line]. Pretty and unique, but will likely often get mixed up with Caroline.

Adeline -- [AA-duh-leen] where the first syllable starts with the same "a" as apple and attic. I've always been surprised to see this name on Y!A used and preferred by some of my contacts who like Victorian names, because it seems so trendy. It's pretty, but ultimately reminds me of Addison and Adelynn... So not my style.

Caroline -- [KAIR-uh-line]. My favorite of the bunch, definitely!

Emmeline -- [EH-muh-leen]. Same as Adeline. I dislike Emily and Emma, so I pretty much hate this by default.

*When I say "lin", it rhymes with gin. When I say "line" it rhymes with wine. Pardon the alcoholic references. :] It's only noon here and I'm having a day!

there all lovely names Caroline is my least fave a bit too dated for my taste, Rosaline is a mouthfull and im not so keen there are so many Rose names that are better in my opinion, Emmeline is nive im just sick of the Em trend at the moment, Coraline is my sacond fave its classic with a twist, i love Cora names, Coralie is my fave, but this one is just so sweet.

my fave name which actually is on my top ten that i love so much is Adeline pronounced AD-A-LINE, its so cute and feminine but isnt sickly sweet, i love love itl, the only draw back for me is the Addy nickname i cant bear that.

Caroline pronounced as Car-oh-line not Car-oh-lynn

For obvious reasons. lol I think it is such a sweet name but also a name an adult can be proud to have.

My second choice would be Rosaline pronounced Roz-uh-lynn because I'm a sucker for Shakespeare and he has some of the best names.

I LOVE all of those names :) I seem to have a thing for "-line" names; I've never really noticed it before.

ROSALINE {ROZ-uh-line} is my favourite; I love pretty much all "Rose-" names. Generally, I hate the "ROZ" sound, but I love Rosaline pronounced this way. I also don't mind it pronounced {ROE-zuh-line}. I personally think it's classic, sophisticated and beautiful - it' used to be my 2nd favourite girls name.

CORALINE {KOR-uh-line} is also adorable; it reminds me of the amazing book and film. In the book/movie Coraline is such an endearing young girl; I picture real children named Coraline growing up to be just the same.

ADELINE {AD-uh-line} is lovely. I really love "Ad-" names for boys and girls, and this is no exception. It sounds sweet by strong at the same time; I could picture a business woman or lawyer with the name.

CAROLINE {KAH-ruh-line} is probably my least favourite, though I still adore it, because I know a lot of trashy people with this name. I really dislike it pronounced {KAIR-uh-line} - to me, it just doesn't sound right like that.

EMELINE {EM-uh-line} is beautiful. When I went to boarding school in France, one of my close friends was named Emmeline. I used to have the adorable Emeline Grace on my list.

I also love:

Ameline {AM-uh-leen, AM-uh-line}

Aveline {aah-vuh-LEEN, AY-vuh-leen}

Evangeline {ev-AN-juh-leen}

Eveline {EV-uh-leen, EE-vuh-line}

Isaline {EE-suh-leen}

Kathline {KATH-leen}

Madeline {MAD-uh-line}

Magdeline {MAG-duh-lin}

Marcheline {MAR-shuh-leen}

Caroline, most definitely. I think the name is simply gorgeous. It's incredibly underused, and SO stunning. I pronounce it Care-uh-line.

I also like Madeline, not nearly as much as Caroline, but it's still nice. I pronounce it Mad-uh-line.

Madeline isn't on the list and it's easily my favorite. I personally like the name spelled correctly as Madeline and pronounced Madelynn but pronouncing it as MadeLINE is cute too.

Caroline would be my second pick.

Don't like Rosaline or Emmaline or Adeline or Coraline at all.

I like all of these...

If I had to choose I'd choose Caroline (Care-oh-line) because I like the nickname Lina.

Coraline (Core-ah-line) would be my second choice.

I like Caroline & Emmeline best.

I like Emmeline, pronounced Emma-lyn. It's a good twist on the overused Emma, with a good classy ring to it.

I really love Madeleine, pronounced Mad-uh-line [I loathe Mad-uh-lyn.]

while it is spelled that way it is reported care-uh-line. If it have been spelled Carolyn it may well be reported care-uh-lynn. I desire the 2nd spelling and pronunciation, in my view :)

I like Caroline. It's pretty, unique and simple. Coraline is nice, but no one ever knows how to pronounce it.

I also love Madeline which isn't on this list. Idk why, but I've always loved this name...
