Please, take my advice, don't do anything too crazy or your kid will be teased and not even like her name.

And I know you don't want that for your baby.

She's going to have this name for life... don't make yourself regret it.

We named our daughter Elizabeth Grace and have gotten many compliments on it because it's pretty and nice and traditional. I guess the traditionalness of the name is what makes it unusual, in a world of Rumors and Honors and Apples. I wanted to name her Willow, but my husband wasn't crazy about it. Also, if the name is too unusual, then she could get picked on at school, or not even find a personalized bike plate, note pad, etc. (I remember that in one of the Ramona books.)

If you do want unusual, you would have to be careful. There is a girl on "Days of Our Lives" who is rarely seen as she is under five, but is named Ciara, which reminds me of a male impotency pill. Yeah. That's a great reputation to have in high school, especially for a girl, regardless of what she does and doesn't do.

why do you want an unusual name? do you want your kid to have no friends or something. cuz kids ARENT deep enough to look past names.

but if you really want a weird name, try apple.

or maeve. those are unusual. but nice. in my opinion.
