Ideally I'd use just one of the names and not try to blend anything because sometimes you just end up with a mish mash of names.

I'd be inclined to go with Madison Kathy because I don't like name combos that start with the same letters. Save Mary Ann for another child.

@ First Base 2008: If her husband's name is Kathy I feel really sorry for him. I'm thinking these are the grandmothers-to-be names.



Edit: Would you consider a name that shared the meanings of both names? Mary has many meanings including "wished for child" and "love"; Kathy is a diminutive of Katherine and therefore shares its' meaning "pure". I'd suggest two middle names since I couldn't find any name with both shared meanings.

You could try changing the spelling of one of the names to help them be combined easier. For example

Mariann-Kate (all of these 'M' names are actual variants of Mary)

You could also try changing Kathy to Katherine, Kate or Katie.
