As apposed to using Macallister, I'd recommend Alastair because McAllister has a very recognisbale essence of surname status. Favorable surnames, when used as first names, can often come across as pretentious. You don't want assumptions made about your character before the story even begins, do you?

MacAllister will mean son of Alistair, Alistair being the Gaelic from of Alexander. I like it as a first name for the story. Very original and goes well with Cassandra.

How about:

Cassandra and Warwick

Cassandra and Richard

Cassandra and Lionel

Cassandra and Hadrian

Cassandra and Peter

Cassandra and Leopold

Cassandra and Arthur

Cassandra and Alistair - this is similar to Alexander.

I like the sound of Cassandra with names that could be the names of Knights.

Cassandra seems like the name of a Lady.

What rolls off your tongue? Cassandra Jake, Cassandra Lee, Cassandra Peete, Cassandra Brice, Cassandra Joe, Cassandra Nate, Cassandra Karl, Cassandra Drake, Cassandra Peyton, Cassandra Keith, Cassandra Kyle, Cassandra Trey or Cassandra "whatever you like". Have fun saying it as if that name was worth mentioning to a very important being or the most common of folk!

Macallister is a surname - I wouldn't use it!

You could use Alistair though - it sounds good with Cassandra.

Or what about:

Cassandra and Daniel

Cassandra and Brendan

Cassandra and Lewis
