Ashley- Primarily girls. I've never met a boy Ashly, even though it used to be a boys name.

Addison- I think this one is mainly feminine too. Even though anything that ends in 'son' is technically masculine as in *this person's* SON. like JackSON would be the son of Jack...originally.

Ashton- I know both a boy and a girl Ashton, but feel its more masculine.

Avery-girl

Bailey -I know a boy and girl Bailey

Blane- boy

Brett- boy

Caden-both

Casey-both

Christian-boy

Corey- I know both a girl and boy Corey, but I believe one is spelled Cory (the boy I think) That probably makes a difference.

Dakota-girl

Dylan- mainly masculine.

Drew - boy

Emerson- boy. SON!

Erin- girl

Evan- boy

Fabian-boy

Francis- I know one boy and one girl, but it's more masculine

Glen- boy

Hadley- boy

Haiden- both?

Harley- both

Ira-girl

Jade- girl

Jordan- both

Jamie- both, especially if Jamie is a nickname for James. Jamie alon for a girl is fine, but I don't think a boys name should be plain 'Jamie', but a nickname for James.

Kelsey- girl

Kerry- girl

Kensley- not sure. both?

Kennedy- girl

Lane- girl

Leslie- mainly girls, even though I do know 1 boy Leslie. We call him Les

London- girl. Boys would probably be Landon

McKenna- girl

Marley- both

Morgan- girl, although I suppose it could be both. Mainly girl

Noelle- girl

Orion- boy

Parker- boy

Payton- mainly girl, but I know a guy Payton

Quinn- both

Reagan- girl

Riley- My brother's name is Riley, so I almost always see it as masculine, even though most other people see it the other way around.

Skylar- both

Stacy- girl

Sage- both

Taylor- both

Tracy- girl

Whitney- girl

Wesley- boy

I went to middle school with boys named Kerry and Ashley and they both HATED their "girlie" names. I think unisex names work best as girls names, as most boys take great offense when mistaken for a girl. I went to a small high school and for graduation a nearby church gave us all little bibles. A fellow i went to school with was humiliated to get a floral covered bible that the church was giving the girls, rather than the black covered one the boys received. His name? Jody Lynn.

Some of the names you listed don't seem unisex to me at all. For example Erin and Noelle. I consider them girls' names. A boy's version would be Aaron or Aron, and Noel.

The true unisex ones to me

Avery, Casey, Dylan,Hadley, Haiden, Harley, Jordan, Jamie, London, Morgan, Orion, Parker, Payton, Quinn, Reagan, Riley( leaning towards feminine), Taylor (leaning towards masculine).

These sound like girls names to my ear:

Ashley, Addison( grey's) Ashton, Bailey, Dakota, Erin( totally girls), Jade, Kelsey, Kerry, Kensley, Kennedy, Leslie, McKenna, Marley, Noelle ( totally girls, boys- Noel and i wouldn't), Skylar, Stacy, Tracy, Whitney

These from your list sound more like boys names:

Blane, Brett, Caden, Christian, Corey, Drew, Emerson, Evan, Fabian, Francis( Frances for girls), Glen, Ira( very boyish), Lane, Sage, Wesley( very boyish)

Just my opinion, of course. Addison was a boy's name, then the popular character on a tv show made it synonymous with a girl's name, so things can change. Also how you spell the name.

If i saw Corey Jones on a list of names, i would expect to see a male.

Corie Jones, and i would expect it to be a girls' name.

Some of these (like Emerson, Ira, Evan and Parker, for example) are clearly male names, and some should not be used as first names, period. McKenna? London?? Orion?? And I wish someone could tell me when Kennedy became a first name at all, never mind a first name for a girl.

This name stuff is getting way out of hand, and I wish I'd be around when the nursing homes are filled with old people named Dylan, Tiffany, Kennedy and Madison. It's going to be hilarious.

Ashley - i don't like this one at all, but it goes better on a girl.

Addison - love this name on a girl, but suits a little boy too.

Ashton - prefer this name on a girl.

Avery - girl only.

Bailey - girl only.

Blane - never heard this name. i dislike it...

Brett - only cute on a boy.

Caden - never heard this on a girl. I prefer it on a boy...

Casey - only on a girl.

Christian - Christiana is cute for a girl. Christian is strictly a boy name.

Corey - only cute on a boy.

Dakota - i love this name on both boys and girls.

Dylan - don't like this name, but it only works on a boy.

Drew - i think this name is adorable! great on only a boy though...

Emerson - works on only a girl. Emerson on a boy is weird.

Erin - this spelling only works for a girl. Aaron is fine for a boy though.

Evan - only a boy.

Fabian - this name is just... weird in general.

Francis - Francis? Never heard it. Francesco = boy, Francesca = girl

Glen - i like this name best on a girl.

Hadley - fine for a boy or girl, but suits a girl much better.

Haiden - i only like this on a boy.

Harley - i hate this name, period.

Ira - girl only.

Jade - girl only.

Jordan - a truely unisex name.

Jamie - prefer on a girl.

Kelsey - hate this name on a boy. not my favorite girl name, though.
