I think that the name Harlie is a nice name for a girl but my family disagree. I lovs the name Harlie Monroe for a girl's first and middle name but others say it is too "masculine". Opinions???

Harley looks much better. I know many little girls named Harley. It's the femine version or Harvey which is a very historic name. Harley Monroe is a good name. I like names that are a little masculine

Harley is a last name some people use as a first name

Monroe is a last name

When I hear Harley I think of Harley Davison Motorcycles, not a person.

I agree with your family.

There are names I love, but would never used on a person.

What does the father think?

The truth is, the only people that need to love the name is the parents.

There is nothing about Harley Monroe I fine feminine. Not my child

Harlie Monroe sounds androgynous

I think that Harlie is a rather cute name for a girl. Monroe? Eh... A bit too masculine for a girl, /in my opinion/.

I knew a girl with this name but it was spelled as; Harley. As in Harley Davidson

To me, it's all feminine. like the female version of 'Harvey." and so, I don't think you need to alter the spelling; Harley is just fine.

It's not my most favorite name but I do prefer it for girls. If you are really set on this name and if your family still disagrees, why not have Harley/Harlie be her middlename?

Harlie is not a PERSON'S name.

It's the name of a motorcycle or a pet. Maybe a boxer puppy, or a fluffy kitten.

Definitely too masculine. I know a girl with this name, (she spells it like Harleigh), and to be completely honest it's not very flattering.

I think it could be used on both genders, but either way it should still be spelled Harley.
