I actually have a few names on my list that are from Harry Potter, but this isn't necessarily the reason why I like them (these names are asterisked). I also have names from Harry Potter that I like but probably wouldn't use for one reason or another. And, yes, I do know I'm a complete Harry Potter nerd (*embarrassed face*).



GIRLS

As a matter of fact, I'm actually planning on naming my daughter Lily. I only started liking the name after reading the books, so although I wouldn't say I'm naming my daughter AFTER the character in HP, I can't deny that the series didn't influence me in some way.



I also really like the names Harry, James, Oliver, Ginny and Luna. I probably wouldn't use them though, because I don't want it to seem like I'm naming all my children after Harry Potter characters!
