Question:
I'm having twins! Yay! We don't know the sexes yet. Help with middle names?

So, my husband and I are both of Irish descent, and have picked these names for our future son(s)/daughter(s):
GIRLS:
Éire(AY-ra) or Saoirse(SEAR-sha)
BOYS:
Eoghan(OH-an) or Ceol(KY-ol)
For girls names, we were thinking Saoirse Rose or Éire Elisabeth. We're at a standstill for boys though, but we want Patrick to be in the names(my father's name). Any suggestions of middle names that might play down the flamboyance of the first names. We really like the two middle names idea, so that kind of suggestion is greatly appreciated.
PS: No comments on the spelling of the forst names please, they aren't up for disscussion.

Saoirse is a beautiful name - I presume you are aware it means freedom? Eoghan is also lovely and love the traditional spelling.

I would advise against Éire. I wouldn't recommend your child ever visiting Ireland with a name like that, it would be seen as a joke. Its very much an 'American' name rather than a name any Irish person would use.

If you live in Ireland, that's fine. If you live in the US, they will have to spend their lives pronouncing and spelling their names. Pick something simple for first names and use the Irish ones for middle names. Or Anglicize the spelling.

Just don't use matching, rhyming, or same first letter names for twins.
