Can Fifi be a nickname for Sophie...?

Well, my name is Sophie and someone was looking for Sophie nicknames and one person suggested Fifi.

So could my nickname be Fifi...? Or does it sound totally goofy and dumb...?

Fifi is kind of goofy, but since it's just a nickname, it's not a big deal. I think it's kind of cute, actually. Something different!

To tell u the truth I don't know if Fifi= Sophie. I don't want to be mean or anything but I want to be sincere, Fifi was my cat's name it sounds nice,but for a person I think it does sound kind of goofy not dumb.

My Sofia is known by the family as Fifi - her twin, Lucia, is called Chichi - yeah I know ..... they're only 3 though (lol). I think it's cute - why the hell not? Everyone calls me Fred!
