pros:
-Lucy is a cute, fun name that is well known but not extremely popular
-It'll be easy for her to learn how to spell
-It's rare that someone will mispronounce it
cons:
-If you go with Lucille, she could be made fun of since it is more common with older women
2.)Adaline
pros:
-unique name
-beautiful sounding
cons:
-hard to spell
-can be mispronounced
-if shortened to Abby, she will most likely not be the only Abby at her school
3.)Meredith
pros:
-easy to pronounce
-uncommon
cons:
-thought to be a name for older women
-not many modern nicknames to go with it
-hard to learn how to spell
4.)Juliet/Juliette
pros:
-associated with beauty
-well known name but not very common
-easy to pronounce
cons:
-makes everyone think of Romeo + Juliet
-hard to learn how to spell
5.)Ruby
pros:
-modern name that is well known but not very common
-very easy to spell and pronounce
-cute name
cons:
(Personally none, I love this name!)
6.)Bethany
pros:
-well known but not very common
-can be shortened to "Beth"
cons:
-hard to pronounce when younger
7.)Charlotte
pros:
-royal name (Will and Kate's daughter)
-well known
-easy to pronounce
-cute name
-can shorten to Charlie
cons:
-very popular. probably won't be the only Charlotte at her school
-hard to learn how to spell
After all that, personally Lucy, Ruby, and Charlotte are my favourite but go with whatever you think is best! Sometimes what could happen is once the baby is born, you could look at her and know right away what her name should be.
For middle names, you could chose one of the names you didn't pick or you could name her after a family member.
