I love Greek names. I still have 7 months to go until the baby's here and it might not even be a girl but I love the name Cleopatra Selene. I know its a little out there but what do you guys think? Even if my daughter get teased at school, what are they going to say, "Cleopatra, queen of egypt" lol whats so bad about that?

It seems a little dramatic to me. But this is your baby and you can name it whatever you want to. I just feel a name like Cleopatra would somehow create different expectations of a person, and she would constantly be trying to create her own identity.

Good Luck with your pregnancy! :)

Not a fan of Cleopatra...sorry.

I love the name Cleo though.

Selene is gorgeous. I also like the spelling of Celene.

So, how about Cleo Celene.

If not, Cleopatra Selene is nice enough.

Hope I have helped.

I like Cleopatra but I'm not so fond of Selene, it's ok though. She could always go by Cleo and that's not a "strange" name

I like the name you have, it's very different, but not bad. I have to tell you though that egyptologists have long said that Cleopatra was probably very ugly! They site numerous paintings, busts, engravings, and even minor comments of her... that clearly show a very unattractive woman. The classic writings of her being beautiful were apparently typical of a woman who was in power. Don't forget that Cleopatra committed suicide!

However, Nefertiti (or Neferneferuaten) was said to be very gorgeous and paintings, busts, and engravings of her really do show an extordinarily beautiful woman.

PS. At least pick a non-suicidal queen
