How do you like this name?

We just found out that we are having a boy, but have been thinking of names for awhile.

I through out Easton and Michael as a middle name. the wife loves it and so do i, but will people think its weird?

I really like the name Easton.. All I can think of though is hockey equipment/sports equipment.. But I still really like the name.. I suggested it to my husband while I was pregnant for our son.. But he doesnt like different cause he is boring.. I LOVE THE NAME THOUGH :) And I don't think it's weird at all.. And don't think of what NICKNAMES he'll have.. why does he even have to have a nickname when Easton is his name?

Yes, it's weird. If Easton isn't a family name, there is absolutely no reason for you to give this pretentious sounding name to your child.



Easton literally translated: East town. Q: How in the world is that a suitable name for a person? A: It's not.

I think Michael Easton flows better but Easton Michael isn't bad either.

Some people might, not saying that everybody will. Personally I don't like Easton, but it's not my baby- it's yours. I've heard worse names. And if both you and "the wife" like it, then who really cares what others will think?

well, i have friends with that as a last name, Easton. i'm not real fond of it for a first name. sorry!



you also have to consider what people would tend to call him for a nick, such as East or Easty or something!

I don't think it's weird at all, it's nice. Easton Michael sounds great.

Not that keen on Easton but if you like it and think the boy won't mind, go for it. I asked my boys and they said YUKK!! Michael is fine.
