middle name has to be Christopher. And since my husband has Irish in him on his parent's side I would like the first name to be Irish if possible :) Thanks in advance.

I think Christopher Aiden would be better, but since the middle name HAS to be Christopher, I'd pick a different first name then Aiden. Aiden is way too popular. In my daughter's preschool class of 25 students, there are 3 boys named Aiden.

Aiden is a pretty popular name, but I love it! Aiden Christopher sounds great. Of all the -den trends, I think it's the most traditional and the strongest one out there (as opposed to all the Kayden's and Jayden's). If it's a name both of you guys agree on, I'd definitely go for it.

If the popularity thing bugs you guys though (for a name like Aiden, it doesn't really bother me, unlike the popularity of other names like Makayla or whatever), what about (and sorry about this, but I'm not 100% sure they're all Irish): Finnegan (love the nickname Fin), Kearney, Dillon, Conan, Emmet, Fergus, Finbar, Lee (another definite classic, Lee Christopher sounds awesome), Lochlan (Loch could be a pretty cool nickname), Murphy, Pierce, Quinlan, Riley, Redmond, Edmond/Edmund, Ronan, Tadhg, Tierney, Tomas (always loved Tom), etc.

Still, Aiden Christopher is a good, solid name. Whatever you guys choose, good luck and congrats!!

Aiden, however you want to spell it, is a little played out in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I do think it is a pretty name, just a bit overused at this point. If you name him Aiden he is gonna be one of 4 or 5 in his class all through school. Nobody wants that. I would go for something more traditional like Jason. That is a timeless name. Jason Christopher is very nice, he could even go by the initials JC, which is adorable for a little boy.

Love the name Aiden (never heard of it until John Corbett's played a character named Aiden in sex and the city). The two names sound really good together too. It flows really well. I would use Aiden for a future child but I have way too many A names in my family...

Brother and Dad's middle name/ Second Cousin's names - Allen

A few years ago I hadn't known anyone named Aiden. But now, I know four baby boys with that name! I'd say its widely overused.

I think that it sounds really nice together. As long as you don't mind that your child will have at least three or four other Aidan's in his class at any given time as it is a VERY popular name right now.
