Middle name for Suri?

Question

Ever since Tom & Katie Holmes announced their baby Suri's name, I loved it. It has a beautiful meaning "red rose" in Persian, it's short and sweet.

What do you think of this name?

What would a nice middle name be? Last name is Tesoto.
I'm thinking Alana, Alura, Isabelle, Violet, Adrianna-an open to recommendations.

I think it's a precious name and I disagree that it won't age well.

I wouldn't use it with most of those middle names. They're beautiful names, but I don't like a vowel next to a vowel. It just doesn't flow as well. Suri Isabelle is beautiful though.

Suri Tesoto sounds quite lovely. I have to admit, I love Suri as well. There's something very sweet about it. Just be prepared to get a lot of "Tom and Katie" remarks from people.



Out of your ideas, I like Violet best. Suri Violet Tesoto sounds great. Isabelle would be my next choice. :)

Its pretty enough, although I don't think I'd ever use it because I wouldn't want people to assume I stole it from Tom Cruise (no offense) and I don't really see it aging well. I can't picture this name on a 40 year old career woman. Its not the worst name I've ever heard though, so if you like it and you don't mind being constantly asked "oh like Tom Cruise's baby?" then go for it!



Suri doesn't really go with any of the middle names you have listed except for Violet; where Suri ends in a vowell it sounds funny with a middle name starting with a vowell.

Here is a middle name that starts with an "A" and sounds great with Suri...Anise...the syllables are flowing and they are both "foreign" enough to sound like they go together. They are both flowers and I think if you put them together in a bouquet they would look rather beautiful!
