Is the name Coco Lily that bad?

It's very childish and celebrity-ish. I'd assume Coco's mother was about 14 and trying to copy celebrities to be cool.



If you're set on the names I would switch it to Lily Coco. Lily is a nice name but Coco is best suited for a pet.

I personally don't care for the flow of the name. I know a little girl named Madison Coco. She goes by Madison or Maddy. Unless you are a filthy rich, celebrity baby it is hard to pull off the name Coco as a first name.



How about Lily Coco?

The flow is better. Lily is feminine and adorable. Coco is a cute, trendy middle name too.

Coco is better as a nickname. As a full name, I would find it hard to take a Coco serious in a professional setting.

Um...it's not terrible...it's just kind of...different. Coco would be better paired with a name that isn't related to an object. Coco reminds you of coco that you drink or coconut, and lily is a flower. It's be better to go the route Courtney Cox went. She named her Coco Riley.

I would like to offer my opinion to you. Is there any specific reason or purpose or vision for you to name a girl "Coco Lily"? There is a saying that goes like this, "your name is as good as your reputation." Your name represents YOU. In the proverbs (bible), a good name is more precious than gems.

I have 5 children and it is interesting to see how they grow up much to the likes of their name. When you call her name out, you are actually proclaming her character into being. Anyway, there can be a lot of arguments about names but I do want to advise you to choose a name that both you and your hubby have discussed about it and both have the same vision of what this young child would be like when she grows up.
