My friends pregnant with a girl. Her name is gonna be-
Kathryn Joel or Katielyn Joelie.
Joelie is pronounced Jo-Ellie not Jo-L

If i HAD to pick, id pick Katielyn Joelie. only cause Joel is a boys name.
But she wants the babys name 2 be close 2 hers, Katelyn Joelle(Joelle)

Kathryn Joel

Katielyn sounds weird. KatieLynne or Katie-Lynne sounds better to me.

I prefer Jolie (Jo-LEE, French for pretty) to Joelie.

Consider

Katharine Jolie

Kaitlyn Jolie

KatieLynne Jolie

I like Kathryn -- classy, classic name. Paired with Joel, it's awfully cute. I like the way the traditionally feminine "Kathryn" balances out the androgyny of "Joel." And, frankly, I'm a huge fans of boyish middle names. I know an Ashleigh Tucker who goes by her middle name.

I don't like Katielyn. It's weird and forced and too girlie-girl. I also think Jo-Ellie is weird. Like, it's a mouthful. And it's unusual in a not-nice way. Joely (pronounced Joe-lee, but not like Jolie, as in Angelina) is a better name, I think. There is an actress named Joely Fisher, and I always liked her name.

I agree... Kathryn Joel sounds more like a male name. Plus Kathryn Joelie sounds cute! Good luck and God bless :)

I have never heard of the name Katielyn, but it sounds too prissy. I would have to say Kathryn Joel, although I am not very fond of the name Joel. May I recommend Kathryn Justina or Kathryn Julianne?

Kathryn Joelle (note the spelling change)

...feminine, multiple nns to choose from, works well for a strong, adult woman, traditional (non-bizarre) spelling...what's not to love!

Kathryn Joelie

Katielyn is EXTREMELY made-up and too close to hers.

Kathryn is a little less close to hers.
