Getting close to my due date..and I still can't figure out baby name?

Question

I am due 2/22/10, and my boyfriend and I still are having a hard time on agreeing on the name for our daughter. I really need some advice. All the names I like he doesn't care for and all the names he likes I do not care for them.

We have even asked family members and it's like my family really likes the name that I have chosen but his family doesn't like any of the names both him and I picked out. It's beginning to stress me out, because I would like us to both agree on a name we both love..but it's just not working.

Chloe while it is a fave of mine does seem a little over used at the moment. Felicity sounds a bit old for a baby. I really like Syan on your list though, you don't often see it and most likely there aren't going to be two or three others kids in her class with the same name unlike chloe

why not Chloe Felicity Edwards or Felicity Chloe Edwards? I personally don't like the name Felicity, but that will be up to you. I had the same problem when my son was born. His dad wanted the most terrible names ever. Which my son ended up getting one of them for a middle name. Now I wish that I had just named him what I had wanted because his dad and I are no longer together. My son's name is Orion Fabrizio...

Do not worry about what family and friends think of the name you choose- you guys are the parents and you guys are the people that will be using her name the most!



like Chloe Gianna. What about the mother chooses the first name and the daddy chooses the middle name. Chloe Felicity? That is still nice. What about you just choose a whole new different name? Kylie Gianna is nice? Christina?

EDIT: Wait to she is born, have a couple of names in mind, and when you guys meet her for the first time, see what she looks like and she will tell you her name.

I like Felicity more. It has more substance to it and it's more timeless, where as Chloe (while timeless) is becoming trendy.



I wouldnt go with Cheyenne. It's not anywhere close to the same caliber as your other names.

Syan is too trendy.

Avia is weird.

I love Kiley spelled Kylie, also another idea is Kylin. Possibly Kyla if you like that.

Chrisette makes me think of a cassette tape

Gianna is weird.



Felicity Kylin Edwards would be cute.

Felicity Kyla Edwards would also be cute.



I'd suggest combining your names, however having both names end with an EE sound would disrupt the flow.

I think Chloe is super cute. But why don't you compromise. Name her Chloe Felicity Edwards.

But personally i really like the name Amelia. I know that wasn't on your list, but that is just my favorite girl name. Otherwise from your list i like Gianna.

Those names are alright, I suppose. The best one is probably Felicity or Cheyenne. I think the best name for a girl is probably Brooke or Ivy.

Chloe and felicity are nice but if you can't agree than they're mote point. cheyenne is kinda over done, i baby sit like 12 of them. syan sounds a bit like country. Avia is nice. Kiley is my favorite, chrisette sounds like a food but its cute. Gianna is nice.



Like your two main ones, and Avia and Kiley are my main favorite.
