What would your honest reaction/impression be if you saw the name 'Lex' spelled in these variations?

Soo just in case, to restate the obvious, it is my own name i am asking about. Though My written name is actually Alexis [(never have i ever never gone by this, it's much too serious sounding and similar to lexus :b)] it just isn't me so it's pretty much general that most think my name is just Lexi haha. I digress, Reality is a mother b*tch. True life: no one can see or hear the name Lexi and not automatically cue the internal kinky techno and rising strip poles lol.. it seems the older i get, the more problematic my name becomes. weighing my options i'd rather not be compared to a car or porn star and i know too many people named alex, so middle ground i came up with Lex.. who honestly doesn't picture Lex Luther and superman? yep exactly, so though its not the most ideal, its the best of the options. My friends think that if the spelling is changed it would be a pretty rad name, and i kind of agree. only problem is, there aren't many ways to spell it, so i want to know from different perspectives the first things that come to mind when you see the spellings? Also if you have any other suggestions on spellings let me know :D thanx

Wait, you think Lexi is stripperish, but Lyx an Lexx aren't? Lecks looks like a disease...Lecs looks like a cheapo brand of alcohol or bath tub cleaner...Leks is just dumb. Alexis doesn't make me think of Lexus...Lexi doesn't make me think of a stripper...Lex doesn't make me think of Superman. I love Lex, more often for a boy, but it's fine for a girl too...none of your 'alternative' spellings look professional, if that's what you're going for.

Lexx - Seems like you wanted to name your baby Lex but also be an individual, you're trying to hard.



I would stick to Lex. Which as you said makes me think of Lex Luthor but who cares.



You could always throw a q in there. Leques. Or something. Or Lexa. I don't know.

I think these variations are kind of too...weird. Lexx I've seen before but personally I also think that's a bit of a stripper name, or at least performance name of some sort. I would just stick with Lex- I think it's cute and doesn't sound like a food. =)

Alexandra -- it may be spelling this form by using persons who hear the call, which might get aggrivating for the youngster if she had to suited suited them each and all of the time. Aleksandra is puzzling. It additionally does not look as quite (for my area). Amy -- It looks classier and could age extra proper. Kathryn -- This one became hard. Catherine looks classier, yet i like the nickname Kate. Cate does not look as magnificent to me. Alison -- It only looks nicer to me. Gemma -- Jemma ruins the call. Caitlin -- I dislike the two quite, yet Caitlin looks slightly nicer and extra age apropriate for an grownup-elder. Clare -- i like the two, yet Clare is my sought after. Cara Lindsay -- Lynsey is undesirable, trashy, and could in common terms artwork on a three-12 months-previous. Katy -- i don't understand why, yet I hate the spelling Katie. i assume I only dislike the call.

um, yeah, i don't particularly care for any of those choices..... they all sound like Licks and that pretty much gives off a stripperish vibe!
