i was goingto call my first son Alfie buteveryone is saying its a nickname and i should think about maybe namin him Ralf and nicknaming him Alfie

I think its cute I think of the christmas storie with little Ralfie :) However I do see the point that Ralfing is another way to say puking. Hmmm...But I wouldnt' have thought of that with out seeing it on here. But maybe kids would?

I'm not a fan. It brings back Honeymooners references. Ralph and Alice, you know. Alphonse could be shorted to Alfie.

This name is normally spelled Ralph, not Ralf. And being that it is another way to say you puked, no, i don't like the name.
