Emma Deanne-Grace or Grace-Deanne?

After creating a baby name list and asking for critsim I think I've narrowed it down :)

Emma, defintely for the first name but middle names...
Deanne is my Mum's name and I defintely want to use it, Grace is my Grandmothers name. She died when I about 12 & I loved her very much.

So after deciding on the names Emma, Deanne & Grace I cant decide on whether to name her ;

Emma Deanne-Grace or Emma Grace-Deanne.

What do you think?
No other name suggestions though please.

-Thanks!

I really like the name Emma, by the way :)

I think Deanne would look better if it came first..

Best wishes for your baby!

Grace - Deanne

much better roll off the tongue. Why not Emma-Grace Deanne

as some one else who was very close to her grandmother I think that pays more respect and is a beautiful name

I like Emma Grace-Deanne. It flows the best I think and it's very pretty. That's really sweet of you to name it after your mom and grandma. Good Luck!!!

The flow is fine for both, but I would go with Emma Deanne-Grace. I agree with an earlier post that you should put your mothers name first. Emma is such a classic beauty! Best of luck.

I think Emma Grace-Deanne goes together best and it's really beautiful. If you'd rather honour your mum first though it doesn't sound odd the other way 'round and still really lovely. Your partner is ok with the name being totally after your family???

I like Emma Deanne-Grace in this situation because it's like a logical progression through the generations... her own name, then your mom's name, then your grandma's name. I also like it better aesthetically assuming that you pronounce Deanne "Dean," although it occurred to me while writing this that you might say "Dee-Ann"--- but really, aesthetics is less important than meaning in the case of middle names, I think. After she's 6 months old, how many people are going to even know her middle name? Do what you like, and good luck!

It depends,

If you plan on calling her by her first name and middle name

then i would go with "Emma Grace" that flows nice as a full first name

But if you will just call her "Emma" then Emma Deanne -Grace " flows all together better

hope it helps! :)

I don't think you should hyphenate the middle names. And if you're flexible I think if you used Deanna or Gracelyn the whole name would flow more nicely e.g:

Emma Deanna Grace or Emma Gracelyn Deanne.

Either way it still honours those important to you.

If you're married to it, I think Emma Grace Deanne sounds better.

Congratulations!
