Her middle name will be Annalyse which is my mn Ann and my daughter's mn Alyse. The last name is Hunt. If I do Rose, then she will be called Rosie for a while anyways but I don't know if Rose is too short for my last name. But if I do Rosie, then she could just go by Rose later anyways, right? Rosie just seems more nicknamish though or could it be a first name? Thanks!

I like Rose because it's sweet but will be adult and sophisticated once she is adult, and you could always call her Rosie when she's little if you want.

Hope that helps :)

Rose definitely works better as Rosie to me is way too much of a nickname.

Rose Annalyse Hunt sounds really good as does Rose Hunt by itself.

Not a big fan of the spelling of Annalyse though, but I suppose since it's your and your mom's middle names combined then it's fine, as I am really into using family names.

Rose Hunt sounds too choppy to me and Rosie seems too nicknamey. I personally don't think it matters how long the middle name is and I don't think you should limit your first name options just b/c of the middle name being longer b/c it's not like she's going to go by her first, middle, and last name on a daily basis. No one ever uses their middle names anyway. As long as the first and last name sound good then you are golden imo. Something like Rosalie, Rosaline, Roselina, or Roselle would be nice. There is also Rosalind or Rosamund but imo, those don't sound that great with Hunt either.

If you decide not to go with a longer name then I'd definitely stick with just Rose and use Rosie as a nickname b/c Rosie is way too childish sounding.

Rose Annalyse I think flows better than w/ Rosie. (Rosie) ends with a vowel which just blends into Annalyse making it all muffled sounding.

Besides, I think that either way, you can use the other as a nn, but as she gets older, Rose is definitely more adult. I think the fall-back REAL name should be the adult one, since as she gets older more adults will see her name before they see her & make subconscious decisions about who she is (or what kind of immature adult she is that she goes by Rosie).

that's ok, even with the incontrovertible fact that that's not outstanding. Rosie is merely infantile and has a nickname-like high quality. i'd strongly propose utilising the call Rose, or yet another Ros- call, with Rosie because of the fact the nickname. it would age so plenty greater advantageous.

I think you should name her Rose, Roselyn, Rosemarie, Rosemary or Rosetta then if she wants to she can use Rosie as a nickname. Also if you choose a longer name it will sound better with the last name

I think that Rose is nicer but have you though about having Rose and Rosie as nicknames and then calling her a longer name like Rosanna or Rosalie??

Good Luck xx
