Is 'Chuckles'. a good name?

I like to use it whenever I meet a man named Chuck... Honest... I like to call him Chuckles, so why not just give the kid that name....

Ok. I'm going to be very honest with you here. If you look up chuckles in the dictionary it means laugh. Don't get me wrong it has a nice meaning but it just sound stupid. I mean who want to go through life having to say, "My name is Chuckles." If your already hooked on that name, consider getting a dog and naming it that or a cat. That would be a very cute cat name.

Why not? People like to shorten names (chuck for charles, etc.), so if you named your kid chuckles, they'd probably call him ....um, well.... chuck.
