I was looking through a baby name book of my mums too (I was adopted but at birth the hospital just nicknamed me 'Lil' and gave the actual name choice to my adoptive parents), a few of the ones my mum liked were:

If I was a boy, I was going to be Brent Anthony or Brett Anthony, which are names I am not really fond of at all.



Originally, I was supposed to be Ameli (ah-mel-ie) if I was a girl, but then I ended up being Lindsey after a lot of discussion.

My name is Margaret, I sound like I'm from the 1800's, I know. My parents were into older names I guess. I was considered to be Lillian, which I love. I can totally see myself as a Lily. I were a boy, I would have been Christopher John. John is my dad's name. I'm so glad I'm not Christopher! I can't stand the name!

I honestly do not know what I was going to be named if I were a boy, but if I were a girl I know they liked Caitlin (although I'm not sure on the spelling I am hoping it was correctly spelled Caitlin lol) and my mom like Delores but my dad didn't.

My name I won't share with you, but my Mom's second choice was Elizabetta Nicolena. If I was a guy it would have been Anthony Frank, after my great-grandfather and my father.



My brother's would have been Marienne Kimberly and it is David Frank.



Some other names my Mum liked were Corinne, Natalie and Audrey for a girl, and Kedar, Adrian, and Nathaniel for a boy.

Well my name is Brook but if I hadn't been named Brook, they were thinking about Alexandra though my mum wanted just Alex but my dad liked Alexandra. My dad really liked Eunice and Rainbow but my mum hated them - I'm with her.

I was either going to be named Erin or Alexandra. My mom wanted Alexandra and my dad wanted Erin. When I came out I looked like an Erin though, so my mom agreed! Madeline was a family name that was agreed on for my middle name.

Theres a bunch, but if I were a boy, Nicholas. My dad wanted a girl to be Patricia but my mom didn't. They decided on the girl name "Natalie Jane." When my mom was pregnant they called me NickNat cuz they didn't know if I was a girl or a boy... ha!
