Do you like the name Maya, Annelyse, or Molly for a girl?

Question

The last name will be Merkner and the middle name might be Marie, a family name. I like of like the initials all being M's (like me), but I am not married to it. Like everyone else,we want a unique, but beautiful name. Other suggestions are welcomed.

I love Molly, was my mom's and is my daughter's name.

Your other 2 choices also have a nice flow to them. Say them to yourself and see which one has that special something when you think about your baby girl.

Love Molly, Maya's done, like Annalise but not your spelling, for some reason. I don't like the alliteration. It sounds cute when you say all 3, but ppl will rarely call her that. Just the first and last together sounds sing-song and too cutesy. (Remember, you're picking a name for a woman, not a baby girl or a child.) My current fave girl names include Sally, Jane, Daisy, Dawn, Tracy, Stella and Dorrance.

If you want unique I would go with Annalyse but not Marie. Every other girl has the middle name Marie.

Maurica is a French name that means dark haired.

I like Mia too, and you could call her Mimi as a special nickname.

Michaela (Mi-kay-lah.) mean likeness of God.
