Landon (OR) Leonard- Landon, it's cute and Leonard sounds like a cat's name.



Mason (OR) Melvin- Again, Mason seems more boyish and sounds better.



Tanner (OR) Tobias- Tanner, it's easier to pronounce and more common, which I like in this case.

Honestly, when I think of Jeremy, I think of a hot, dreamy guy or an adorable sporty little kid. Jaden reminds me of that over the top Jaden Smith. Ewwww.



Nate (OR) Nigel

Nigel sounds like a mean, prissy, snobby name. Nate is perfect.



Bentley (OR) Bernard

Bentley sounds all cool and mysterious. Bernard makes me think of some huge, tall, annoying kid that looks like a St. Bernard dog.



Eli (OR) Edgar

No one, and I mean no one, is name Edgar these days. Maybe like in England…or Narnia. Eli is such a cute name.



Aidan (OR) Angus

Love the name Aidan. Angus sounds like that cat from Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging.



Leo (OR) Lyle

Leo!!! Lyle just isn’t pretty. Leo is such a universal name that it works on everybody.



Emmet (OR) Eugene

Again, not a big fan of either…But Emmet is better. Eugene sounds kinda nerdy, kinda like a grandpa.



Ryan (OR) Russell

Ryan or Russell…Hmmm….This one’s a toughie. I like Ryan just a bit better. It’s just a cool name.

Cody (OR) Clive: Neither because Cody is too nerdy for my taste, and Clive sounds like an old man.

Landon (OR) Leonard: Leonard because it's a name that fits well throughout life, and sounds cool. Landon is too trendy.

Mason (OR) Melvin: If my husband and I believed in naming kids after people we would pick Melvin because it was his grandfather's name. I could never use Mason because it's the name of the street I live on, and it's too stuffy.

Tanner (OR) Tobias: Tobias, and call him Toby (after Toby Keith) for short. Tanner is not our style.

Jaden (OR) Jeremy: Jeremy because it's a classic. Jaden is too trendy and over used.

Nate (OR) Nigel: Neither because I have an ex named Nate, and Nigel sounds like a butler.

Bernard: I would call him Bernie for short. Bently is too trendy.

Edgar: because it not a name you hear often.

Angus: because I love a good steak, and I HATE the name Aidan.

Leo: because it's cool.

Emmet (OR) Eugene: Neither, too nerdy

Ryan: because I like the name, even though I have an ex named Ryan he wasn't a jerk.
