Hated names within the top 1000 part 3. ♂?

Question

I compiled a list of names off from the charts:http://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/u... in which I either personally dislike or hate and wonder how in the world they ever made it to the list. I arranged them alphabetically. I will be posting names I personally dislike regardless of their spelling. Its the name itself I'm not a fan of or much.
Feel free to give your opinions on them however you wish.

For starters, I'm getting a 404 error message with your link, so I can't see the charts. Just fyi.



I personally like Grayson (preferably with that spelling), Houston, Harper (more as a girls name though), Hamza, Israel, Josiah (s not z), Jagger, Jaxton, Judah and Javier. I'll admit bias, though: I'm from Houston, have a friend named Javier and another named Hamza, and I have a cousin in Israel named Judah. Yeah, kinda surprised so many relate to me personally too. Other than that, the only other personal things I can say is that Grayson is the surname of one of my favorite superheroes Dick Grayson...aka the first Robin/Nightwing/the third Batman so I've always liked the name.



I don't mind the rest except Gibson, Grady, Gerado, Gannon, Hexndrix (if pronounced as spelled), Jamari, and Jamarian. I personally don't think they sound like good names. At least I'm hearing Grady being spoken in a grating way in my head, and I feel sorry for anyone named Gannon since the Legend of Zelda videogames are popular (and Ganon is the main villain in most of them).



Gunner seems to me that it'll be better as someone's nickname, rather than actual name.

I hate the names Gunner/Gunnar and Gannon - they really are two of my least favourite names ever, I find them so unattractive. I also dislike Grayson and all its spellings. I don't care for Grady, Gerado or Gibson - it just reminds me of a gibbon. And I've never heard of Gauge before.



Hendrix is cool, I am beginning to like names which have an 'x' in them, I find them very edgy and unusual, although it is probably better suited to a character than a child. I like Harper for a boy although I despise the name on a girl. I don't mind Hank but dislike the rest of the H names.



I don't care for any of the I names either.



From the J names I really like Josiah, I think it's a great biblical classic. I am also very fond of Jett, Jagger and Junior although I consider them strictly GP names and would never use for an actual child. Javier is pretty cool too. I really don't like Jaxton, Jayvion, Jaylen/Jalen, Justice or Jesus.

Gunner/Gunnar~ German. I don't see it as usable in the US.

Grayson/Greyson/Graysen~ Not a fan of this last name as a first name. I don't mind Gray, though.

Gibson, Grady, Gerardo, Gauge, Gannon~ Dislike them all. Gage, too.

Hexndrix (and Hendrix)...hate the "x". Houston~ ugh, Harlan~ ugh, Harper` ugh ( hate it for a girl, too)

Hank~ I don't mind this as a nick name for Henry. It's really out dated, though.

Hamza~ Say WHAT? hector~ fine for a Latino baseball player.



Hayes is kind of cool. I have a way back relative whose first name was Hayes. However, it was his mother's maiden name.



Iker, Ibrahim~ nope. I would never use Israel but I don't mind it. I watch Flip or Flop.

Justice/Justus~ Ick.

Jaylen/Jalen~ i know quite a few people with this name. I'd never use it but I don't hate it.



Josiah is the only suitable one from this row and I don't really even like it. Juan and Jesus (as Hay-soos) are fine for Latino baseball players.



Judah~ Oh. please!. Jett~ SMH... Jayvion~ nope although I know guys name Javion and Javon. Parents of future college and professional athletes seem to like these name and variations of them.



Jamari and jadiel are too weird. Junior is hill billy.

I hate Jagger. Jamarian (athlete again) is awful. I don't mind Javier but I'd never use it.



Out of all the names you have posted in all of the questions I hate Jaxton (and jJx) the most. It makes me cringe. I like Jackson and Jaxton just makes my blood boil.
