Question:
Do you think it would be crazy if I named my daughter, "November?"?
Saints, baby!

I would LOVE to name my daughter "November," but my family has a history with "F" names. My mother was named after her grandmother with an "F" name and my name starts with "F," so if I wanted to stick with tradition, I would name my daughter "Farrah." What do y'all think?

Would you settle for Farrah November? I think that sounds nice. I personally wouldn't name my daughter November unless she was born in said month, but it's your child. Farrah is a beautiful name.

I think November is a beautiful name! I've never thought of that before, but I might just add that to my favorite baby's names list! Thank you!

If you want to stick to tradition, you could always name her Farrah November, and she would go by November. That's what my friend's parents did.

November IS a little out there, but if you want to, go ahead! April and June are considered classic names, aren't they? I personally would go with Farrah though. It's classic, pretty, and it will age very nicely. Or Felicia is a pretty and feminine name as well! I always try and think, when choosing names, "Would I want to go through life named that, or would I resent my parents' choice?" if your answer is yes, you would like to be named November for your whole life, (small child, kid in school, adult trying to make their way in the world, parent, grand parent) then use the name November by all means!! But sometimes a little more classic name, while the original one is pretty, can be easier to actually LIVE with. Good luck deciding!! Hope I helped:)

Farrah is a very beautiful name. It is well known but not at all common, which is perfect.

I really dislike November as the first given name. I like unusual names and noun names well enough, but this one is way too unusual, bordering on weird. However, I love middle names that are strange and whimsical.....November is a perfect! Farrah November has a wonderful flow and sounds lovely, mysterious, exotic, sensuous, exciting. It would age well, too.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of November or Farrah. November just sounds strange and Farrah is so 1970's. How about Faith, Faye, or Felicia.

I like Farrah a lot more than November, November is really different though, but it's in the fall, where nature starts to die. I think Farrah is much prettier, but it's your choice! :)

No, November is a lovely name! You could call her Novi, Nova or Ember for short.

I don't like Farrah at all, it's tacky and trendy. Why don't you give her a middle name beginning with F instead? I'm all for tradition, but if there's a name you love, then go for it! Especially if it's a name as adorable as November. I get that you don't want to break family tradition, but I don't see why giving her a middle name beginning with F is straying from tradition anyway.

Good luck and I hope I helped a little.

November is kind of dumb. That seems like you would just be using your daughter to get attention. Farrah is much more graceful.

I don't like November. Farrah is nicer. If you want something wintery how about Fawn?

I personally prefer "November" over "Farrah". Go with what you want, stop trying to make other people happy...

At the end of the day, your happiness is what counts.

I wouldnt worry about sticking to tradition, and also, remember, its just a name. The kid will be the same, brilliant, kid no matter what you name her.
