Im havin a little girl soon and I know it's an unusual name but I like the name a lot.

I have never thought of that as a name, but it's really cool. My favorite middle name with it is Elyse. ♥

I like elyse, personally prefer the spelling Elise but either way. The only thing about october is there isn't really a nick name built in, and I like nicknames in names that big. But I don't think it's bad. Can you see the name October on a clerks name tag and a lawyers desk plate? I always this a good name can fit any profession, which may just be my weirdness.

I'm not a fan of October...aside from it being a month, I just don't think it has a very pretty or feminine sound. It also kind of makes me picture a Playmate of the Month (Miss October).

October Rose sounds pretty. people see no problem naming their children Summer, Autumn, June, August, but for some reason October would sound strange to them? now if the kid is not born in October that might be a little awkward but not horrible. i've always liked the name Friday.

As long as she isn't born in the month of October (it just weird then), I like it.

I personally wouldn't name my child after a month or day. I'd go with just Alice, Rose, Elyse, or even Alice Rose.
