I want to name my twins Beavis and Butthead...?

...But my problem is they look alike , being twins and all, so What if I name the wrong one Beavis, and the other Butthead? How can I possibly know?

Beavis and Butthead. Those are really great names. Just be sure to always dress Beavis in a Metallica t-shirt, and Butthead in an AC/DC t-shirt - that's how you will always be able to tell who each one is. :-)

Being a person who was given a difficult-to-say and very unusual birth name which I never liked, and also the mother of twins myself, I feel that naming your children Beavis and Butthead would be completely cruel and immature.



I named my children after giving it great thought. I wanted to give them names that I hope they will grow up liking, which are memorable as well as easy to remember, and which would not provide them with shame, embarrassment, humiliation, etc. growing up. I know what that's like, and I legally changed my name when I became an adult. I got tired of the other kids singing the "diarrhea song" to me.



They're your children, for goodness sake. Do the right thing. If you're set on those names, get a couple of dogs or cats or something and name them Beavis and Butthead.
