I'd call him Jamie.

Its because of the syllable difference. Jaden is two syllables, there's Ja*den and then there's the last name Amey (or is it A*mey?). If its the 2nd it will work, if not, then it won't. It will depend on his Middle name, like Ja*den Mat*thew Amey.
This gives you 2, 2, 1. But the SOUND of it rings better than Jaden Amey. You may want to make his middle name Jaden and call him by that. Say Matthew Jaden Amey and call him Jaden. (I'm using Matthew just out of the blue, but as an example). Or call him Jaden Matthew Amey and still call him Jaden, whatever, its totally your choice of course. But you need something in between that will fix the syllable sounds.
Good luck with whatever you decide!

No! I went to school with a boy called William Amey. I would go for a more traditional first name - Robert, Thomas something like that.

Jaden Amey just doesn't flow right.
I would go with Jude Amey for a boy.

No sorry it doesnt sound good. Something simple like John Amey or Jonathan Amey sounds better. Jason is another idea.

i don't know...i don't think you need an "en" name with your last name....
How about:
Caleb Amey
Isaac Amey
Isaiah Amey
Parker Amey
Jacob Amey
Ben Amey
Carter Amey
Alexander Amey
Derek Amey
Andrew Amey

Jaden doesn't flow, try something like Thomas or Henry or if you're into the more fashionable names try Mitchell or Harrison.

Nope, it sounds like a boy band members stage name!
It's a really unusual surname, I would pick something very normal and masculine to go with it, like Scott or Adam or something, but at the end of the day, it's you he'll be shouting at when he's a teenager so call him whatever the hell you want. (within reason obviously!)
